R69 Release Notes


ATTENTION:

Due to the change in the location of the player profile data folder, all player's settings will be reset (game settings, ticked PvP modes, new and seen item differentiation; the game's first launch cinematic will be played again; the game will also start with the Intro Mission). Holidays Special




• Special Chrismas items are waiting for you (some - as game task rewards, others - as offers in the Game Store):
• • Chrismas bundle with "Silent Night" weapon skins in the Store: XM27 Pacifier, U44 Culverina, R60 Gevaudan, Cinetech M5, and SAG-8 Reaper.
• • "Silent Night" weapon skins as task rewards: Λ-3 Pilum, G5 Earl, Berlington TAC, Λ-1 Centurion, and Presarm VX-7.

Balance Changes


Weapon balance changes:
Berlington TAC and R60 Gevaudan shotguns: slightly decreased damage.
Firespray submachine gun: the precision damage and precision effective distance were slightly decreased.
CLAW FP vertical grip for the Firespray submachine gun: the 7% stability buff was replaced with the 10% accuracy buff.
Presarm VX7, SAG8 Reaper, and TWD X-treme sniper rifles: decreased accuracy .
Escort Mode tweaks:
• The cart now moves at different speeds depending on the number of players pushing it. If there is only one player pushing the cart, the speed is 1.5 meters per second; two - 2 m/s; three or more - 2.5 m/s.
• The cart will move backward at a speed of 0.25 m/s when controlled by the enemy.
• The cart circle is colored yellow when it is contested, and red when it is controlled by the enemy and is moving backward. KNOWN ISSUE: On the March map, the colors are reversed: the cart zone is red when controlled by friendlies and blue when controlled by the enemy.
• The radar spotting distance is increased by 40%.
Ram's Explosive Axe improvements:
• Enemy Axe can now be destroyed by shooting at it.
• Improved audio effects.

Maps & Modes


• A new Coop episode: Border Control.
Invasion PvEvP event (January 2-9, 2023) where three Shellguard operatives fight against one Chosen player and environment. Not an easy task for either side.
• • Please note that since this mode is still in development, its performance is 10-15% lower in comparison with other modes.
• Expedition Mode update: the new Strafer Vault encounter and three new secondary encounters.
Extreme Expedition event (January 12-16, 2023):
• • AI hit points are increased 2.5 times.
• • Incoming damage is increased by 20%, weak point damage is increased by 2.5 times.
• • Additional weapon type damage multipliers: submachine guns: +10%, sniper rifles: -20%; shotguns: +80%.
• • Contamination Overdose: two contamination modifiers are present from the start.
• • Infinite Contamination: after 5 levels of contamination, the players get -20 HP to health cap for each consecutive contamination level.
Juggernaut Escort event (January 9-13, 2023)
• • Escort Mode with twice the hit points.
• Coop missions are now grouped into two categories for your convenience: Episodes and Blitz missions.
• Updated Escort map for Escort Mode.
• • Tweaked spawn points.
• • New objects were introduced, and some old objects positions were changed.
• • Tweaked kill zones and the cart path.
• • The defender's recon class climb on the bridge was removed.
• • Two exploit positions in the final stage area were closed.
• • A side path at the U-shaped road turn on the cliff was added.
• • The covers at the cave bunker exit were extended. 
• • A zip line across the ravine was added. 
• • The sniper position after the bridge was removed.
• Updated March map for Escort Mode.
• • Tweaked spawn points.
• • New objects were introduced, and some old objects positions were changed.
• • Tweaked kill zones and cart path.
• • We removed the sniper position and Recon class climbs at the final gate, while the final gate construction was tweaked.


Animation


• Updated slide animation in third-person view.
• Updated operatives animation on the Prebattle Screen.
• New animation for the Lupara Compatta pistol.


UI


• The Crafting Screen got some minor improvements and was moved to the Armory submenu.


Session Reconnect


• If players get disconnected from the game session due to a network error (Error 09-XX), they will be offered to reconnect back to the session after they return to the game lobby.


Content Creators Support


• In cooperation with Nexus.gg, we added the functionality to support your favorite content creator. With a special creator’s code, part of every purchase you make goes to the creator you choose.
• Content creators are now able to distribute unique content among their followers by means of a redemption code in the game.


Miscellaneous


• New instant awards:
• • Airborne: for two while-in-mid-air kills in PvP or five such kills in PvE.
• • Luddite: for killing three enemy drones in PvP.
• • Ping & spotter: for five pings in a match.
• • Pimple remover: for destroying three cart pimples in Escort Mode.
• • Oh, crap!: for a self-kill.
• • Wall-breaker: for destroying three crystalline walls in PvP.
• • Zipliner: well, for using a zip line obviously.
• Improved geometry of the Alpha-Sight and the FS Assassin pistol extenders (weapon attachments).
• Audio improvements for the Queen AI, the Mine Field in Expedition, Hecatomb Coop Episode, and destructible doors on different maps.
• Updated Japanese font.


Key bug fixes


• Fixed issue where the Strafer AI bodies could have unnatural arm positions if killed by an explosion.
• Fixed issue with a clunky weapon selection animation if done when sprinting.
• Fixed issue where the resurrector's camera could rotate after switching from third-person to first-person view after revival.
• Fixed issue where the new item icon didn't show on the weapon customization button or the customization type button for the yet-locked weapon (for instance, when a new skin was received from a box).
• Fixed issue where the text for some tasks could be cut-off.
• Fixed issue where the weapon attachments section for an unlocked weapon lacked any information that the player should acquire the weapon first to proceed to attachments.
• Fixed audio issues in the Expedition initial cutscene, Hecatomb episode radio exchanges and boss fight, and Sunken Lab episode narration.
• Fixed issue in Expedition where the Lucky Bulletperk stopped working after the player received a new weapon from the supply box.
• Fixed issue in Expedition where the boss fight wouldn't end if the Healing Anomaly modifier was active.
• Fixed issue in Expedition where sample capsules could fail to be picked up at the Sample Extraction encounter.
• Fixed issue in Expedition where the Koshchei and the Fusion Reactor encounters could fail to start if a player proceeded to them without finishing active secondary encounters, but finally completing the secondaries afterward.
• Fixed issue in the Hecatomb episode with a big performance drop at the Kioni stasis chamber cinematic.
• Fixed issue where the Minotaur AI could get the damage from a grenade explosion.
• Fixed issue on the Old Town map where a player could shoot through a narrow gap under the window on top of the clocktower.
• Fixed issue on the Old Town map where a player could get on the roof of one of the buildings by jumping on a crystalline wall.
• Fixed issue in the Conquest mode where the objective icon could point in the wrong direction during the first couple of seconds.
• Fixed issue with the Impala Sea Beast sniper rifle modification where the rail patch could not be easily discerned on the weapon.
• Fixed issue where an operative model could be in the wrong position on the Play screen if the player left the match with the Esc menu.
• Fixed issue with the Large buckshot ammo weapon attachment where the attachment reduced the weapon range.
• Fixed issue where the TWD X-Treme and the SAG-8 Reaper sniper rifles didn't affect the sprint speed which in effect should be 10% lower.
• Fixed issues with Orbit's ultimate where it could be discharged at respawn even if the injection hadn't been completed or the ultimate's charge level could rapidly decrease after activation.
• Fixed issue where Strix's Fire Wave grenade kill didn't count as an ability kill.
• Fixed issue where the G7 Springer's Selenium Ammo attachment hid the Brightline XC-1's laser beam when the two attachments were equipped at the same time.
• Fixed issue with the Craft Machine where the machine's opening animation failed to play when crafting a weapon.
• Fixed issue where the Earl Samurai pistol modification was not displayed in the Amory while the modification could be crafted.
• Fixed issue where an ultimate weapon was charging too fast from abilities use.
• Fixed issue where a player could see through the smoke at low graphics settings.
• Crash fixes.
